JEFF BERLIN’S TRIBUTE ALBUM TO THE LEGENDARY JACK BRUCE WITH AN ALL-STAR LINEUP
Jack Songs is bass icon Jeff Berlin's tribute album to legendary bassist Jack Bruce. Jack is best known for his groundbreaking work with the legendary band Cream, as well as through his critically acclaimed solo work. Jeff was a personal friend and admirer of Jack. After first seeing Jeff play, Jack proclaimed him to be “the greatest bass player in the world”. After Jack's death in 2014, Jeff decided to record Jack's songs in remembrance of his friend and hero; all with new arrangements and an all-star cast of musicians to honor Jack. Jack Songs is that record.
