John’s talents span numerous categories beyond music production, to include engineering, mixing, project management, college and private teaching as well as performing as a highly respected guitarist/arranger.

He recently finished producing/engineering/mixing for Jeff Berlin’s 2023 release entitled, Jack Songs: An All-Star Tribute to Jack Bruce. This highly acclaimed recording features A-List musicians including Sammy Hagar, Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee, Eric Johnson, Tony Levin, Gregg Bissonette, Nathan East, Bill Frisell, Gary Husband, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Bill Sheehan, and many more.

As former Director of A&R and staff producer for EMI Music Group/Blue Note and Manhattan Records, one of the largest record companies in the world, John has worked with an eclectic roster including, Rosanne Cash, Celtic Woman, Diana Ross, T-Bone Wolk, Linda Eder, 12 Girls Band of Shanghai, Al Green, and Alejandro Escovedo among many others.
